Description

We are looking for a talented Supply Chain Manager to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our York, SC location.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will need the following:   

  • Strong Cross-Functional Leadership 
    Effectively manage daily operations across multiple functions, ensuring seamless coordination and dependable supply chain performance. 
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset 
    Lead and sustain improvement initiatives aligned with the Cummins Operating System, using standardized tools and systems to drive efficiency and eliminate waste. 
  • Strategic Collaboration Skills 
    Build strong partnerships across Business Units and functions to align planning processes, mitigate supplier constraints, and create unified supply chain strategies. 
  • Process Standardization Expertise 
    Develop and implement common supply chain processes and procedures that enhance consistency, scalability, and operational clarity. 
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities 
    Use data-driven insights to identify trends, address root causes of supply chain failures, and implement corrective actions that stabilize operations. 
  • KPI Development and Management 
    Define, track, and improve key performance indicators to monitor supply chain health and guide decision-making toward performance targets. 
  • Financial and Resource Planning Acumen 
    Prepare and manage annual operating plans, including budgeting for expenses, resources, and capital investments to support strategic goals. 
  • People Development and Coaching 
    Lead, mentor, and develop your team by setting clear goals, supporting career growth, and fostering a high-performance culture. 
     

Education, Licenses, Certifications: 
College, university, or equivalent degree required. 
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. 
 
Experience: 
Significant level of experience required. 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred. 



Qualifications
  • Support and drive plant material flow projects 
  • Actively manage 3PL for cost reduction targets 
  • Streamline and drive improvement in the scheduling process 
  • Support the material / production strategy for the Manning site 
  • Optimize the usage of the plant warehouse 
  • Drive actions to meet plant inventory targets.
