As Production Planner at FallTech, you will be at the forefront of managing and optimizing the planning for designated production lines. Your role will be critical in ensuring efficient production schedules, meeting operational targets, and providing comprehensive status reports to senior management. With a strategic mindset and advanced planning expertise, you will drive production efficiency, improve workflows, and contribute significantly to FallTech's operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Line Planning: Develop, implement, and maintain detailed production schedules for specific production lines, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and production capacity.
  • Resource Allocation: Optimize the allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime on assigned production lines.
  • Status Reporting: Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management, detailing production line performance, progress against schedules, and key metrics. Highlight potential issues and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline production workflows, reduce waste, and boost overall productivity. Lead initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, manufacturing, and inventory management, to ensure seamless execution of production plans and timely availability of resources.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively address and resolve production issues, working closely with production teams to mitigate risks and ensure smooth operations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate production documentation, including schedules, reports, and process changes. Ensure adherence to established guidelines and quality standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Engage in production meetings and collaborate with planners and team members to align on project requirements, goals, and updates.
