Job Skills / Requirements

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory of supplies and consumables.  This person is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, and adhering to company policies.  This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.


Job responsibilities:

  • Ordering of supplies and consumables for the company.
  • Sorting when product is delivered for local managers.
  • Monitor and track billing of consumables to customers. Prepare tickets for invoicing and provide to FA first day of the month.
  • Assist managers with credentials and training on online portal.
  • Prepare all invoices for uploading into systems prior to month closing. Reconcile for accuracy.
  • Assist with equipment recommendations, work with operations in ordering for new accounts and replenishment of existing accounts.
  • Maintain inventory of parts and equipment along with paying all invoices ordered through Procurement Dept.
  • Order and maintain apparel inventory of hourly staff for all accounts.
  • Maintain direct communications with NSA (national buying group) and work to maintain ongoing rebates offered.
  • Responsible for inventory item file maintenance
  • Maintaining and creating vendor/distributor relations
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Job requirements:

  • Skills and Abilities
    • Must be 18 years or older
    • Must have reliable transportation
    • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, either orally or in writing
    • Good communication skills
    • Customer-oriented and friendly
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or GED
  • Physical Requirements
    • Sit and stand for long periods of time
    • Repeat the same movements
    • Frequent bending and twisting
    • Able to lift, push & pull 50lbs
    • Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Details

  • Full Time- 1st shift position (with some evening and weekends as needed)
  • $20-$24/hr
