We are constantly evolving and transforming to be the best and always on a look out for the right people on our team. Reporting to the Director, Global Procurement, the Procurement Specialist holds a key role within the Procurement and Supplier Management function at SOTI. You are an excellent communicator with proven ability to influence at all levels within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Effective partnering with internal business units

  • Manage the procurement life cycle, including sourcing and acquiring good and services

  • Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements and delivery specifications; prioritize all requests according to stakeholder needs

  • Develop and present pricing and service options purchases, including saving analysis, supplier offering comparisons, and solution recommendations

  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers; perform market research to better understand current and future offerings relative to our business

  • Negotiate prices, terms and conditions, delivery specifications, and services

  • Work with our accounting team to ensure a smooth and timely process for executing invoice payments

  • Work with legal to ensure that contracts support buying decisions

  • Create purchase orders and expense reports for corporate purchases on credit card.

  • Manage and when required supervise facilities contractors

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience and accomplishments

  • 2-3 years of procurement experience

  • Demonstrates a working understanding of MS Office

  • Strong Excel skills preferred

  • Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple project deliverables on multiple projects effectively

  • Demonstrates excellent communication, reasoning and analytical skills.

  • Excellent commercial understanding and business acumen
