About the role

The Procurement Analyst will play a critical role in supporting Riverina’s purchasing strategy by streamlining procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the company maintains effective stock and inventory control.

Based at our Head Office in Milton, this role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to make a real impact across a multi-site agricultural business.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory by placing purchase orders with approved suppliers and optimising stock levels.
  • Monitor and review stock at multiple sites, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
  • Assess, accept, or reject raw materials and finished products, implementing corrective actions when needed.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while ensuring corrective and preventive measures are followed through.
  • Prepare tenders, negotiate contracts, and secure optimal terms for the company.
  • Implement vendor analysis programs to drive cost reduction and efficiency.
  • Coordinate inventory control and oversee multi-site stock control.
  • Maintain the company’s ERP system and ensure accurate administration and logistics support.
  • Support the Procurement Manager in executing the broader purchasing strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, WHS, and all company policies and codes of practice.


Skills And Experiences

Our Ideal candidate will possess:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in purchasing and logistics, preferably in FMCG or multi-site manufacturing.
  • Strong negotiation skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
  • High attention to detail, with strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Knowledge of agricultural commodities and products will be highly regarded.
