As a Buyer, you’ll join Loblaw’s Sourcing Team, a group of world-class sourcing professions accountable for purchasing goods on behalf of our retail divisions which represent more than 3,000 stores from coast to coast to coast.
Reporting to the Sourcing Director you’ll participate in every aspect of category sourcing including domestic and offshore sourcing, supplier relationship and performance management, RFPs, cost negotiations and cost mitigation, supply risk management, quality management, supplier onboarding and much more. You’ll also work with the Director to provide our retail divisions with rich category insights on cost inflation forecasting, commodity trends, competitive landscape analytics and global product innovation.
