SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST
IMPACT ON BUSINESS:
To analyze and expedite freight movement through the yard or distribution center. This position has extensive interaction with accounts payable, merchandising teams, transportation teams, and distribution center operations teams and external interaction required with vendors.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES [Essential Functions]:
Develop a thorough understanding of the business and how it relates to the supply chain
Analyze and execute all daily distribution center activities resolving all issues/inquiries
Act as the liaison between various teams and the flow of merchandise in the DC
Communicate all issues and resolution with appropriate teams
Analyze and respond to specific special projects
Partner with the distribution centers for continual process improvement
Report and resolve aged, priority, and advertised PO’s
Communicate with vendors on opportunities for enhanced processing and compliance
Execute PAW early releases to maximize flow
Ensure RTV’s are executed quickly and efficiently
Monitor all status 30 orders needing distro and keep current
Monitor and resolve all PAW not worked
Resolve any merchant issues related to the logistics tab in 2buy4
Ensure compliance to requirements published in Vendor Partnership Guide
Maintain DC compliance documents, ticketing instructions, PO resolution guidelines, and expense offset policies
Lead groups of merchants on in-person DC tours, focusing on detailed process review and the impact on the business
Owner of “DC Issue” mailbox
Live unload approval, DC lost PO research, DC active receipts needing voided
Resolve all chargeback disputes through analysis
Engage with and present information to merchant teams to reinforce best practices for reducing errors in the DC
Perform additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:
4-year degree preferred
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
Team player with a positive mental attitude; self-motivated
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Must have full body rotation and mobility (i.e., bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, etc).
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
