Oil & Gas company is seeking a Production Planner to work out of the spring facility.  This company continues to experience steady growth throughout the United States and other parts of the world.  

This company is a well-established Manufacturing company with an outstanding company culture looking to add to their growing team. 

As the Production Planner, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing inventory, forecasting and reporting on a daily basis to meet distribution demands. 

Responsibilities include:           

  • Manually manage the company inventory
  • Maximize the use of company inventory
  • Be aware of raw material availability
  • Decide upon the best inventory level at which to reorder additional inventory
  • Avoid inventory bottle necking 
  • Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel.
  • Record and monitor all items with shelf-life daily and notify appropriate personnel when material has expired and needs reorder
  • Prepare reports for cycle counts

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in supply chain for OCTG products preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related.
  • 5 years experience in inventory control, materials management and planning
  • Working knowledge of inventory systems
  • Microsoft Excel and other MS Office Suite of Products
  • Ability to read and understand directions, blue prints, procedures, product labels, non-conformance reports and check lists
  • Established negotiation skills, good understanding of cost and price analysis techniques, and a basic understanding of contract law.
  • Practitioner of continuous improvement tools.
