Job Description

Our client requires a Procurement Specialist to lead its stakeholders through the Request for Proposal (RFP) procurement and the transition to operations of application support processes. The objective of this initiative is to optimize the IMT service delivery and support model to enable business areas to effectively deliver services.

Education

University graduation, diploma or certificate in business, management or a related discipline

Qualifications

Requirements

-Experience in a leadership and/or facilitation role.

-Experience in business writing and communications.

-Experience with trade agreements and competitive procurement law.

-Experience with contract negotiations.

-Experience with analysis and management of complex acquisition initiatives.

-Experience with analysis and management of complex interrelated contracts.

-Experience in the acquisition of products and services via a competitive bidding process.

-Experience with producing and packaging procurement deliverables for presentation to various internal support teams, steering committee, and other project stakeholders.

-Experience with outcomes based service delivery models

-Experience with procurement of IT systems and solutions

Desirables

-Active PMP or PgMP Certification as issued by the Project Management Institute or equivalent.

-Experience with interacting with senior management level or above within an enterprise organization.

-Experience in leading stakeholder collaboration sessions to gain consensus;

-Experience with support multiple procurement projects, project managers and project governance.

-Experience in developing and executing project change and communication plans

-Experience with project documentation, progress reporting and tracking against defined scope, milestones and budget

-Experience with developing recommendations including providing details of resource requirements, dependencies, interdependencies, policy implications pertaining to the procurement and contracting methodology.

-Experience with transitioning services to operations

-Experience with developing project and operational governance structures.

-Experience with Microsoft Office 2010, PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Visio
