Job Summary
Digital Cloak is seeking a Logistics Analyst who can analyze, organize, and plan various phases of day-to-day logistics operations for government projects, civilian agencies, and government contracting business partners.
This key team member will establish and develop logistics plans to enhance distribution of goods and supplies, identify and assess key logistics assets and infrastructures, assist in developing policies and procedures to ensure quality and cost control, conduct distribution/network studies, monitor inventory, and analyze requirements to develop strategies for achieving delivery timelines. This role also contributes to client deliverables and provides logistics input for Program Management Reviews and Integrated Product Team Meetings.
Essential Functions
• Reports in writing and verbally to upper management and client representatives.
• Assists in developing, revising, and updating acquisition documentation related to ACAT programs (Acquisition Strategy, LCSP, Material Fielding Plans, Disposal Plans, etc.).
• Models problems/solutions, assesses cost/performance impacts, defines processes aligned with policy, implements optimization strategies.
• Advises program staff on maintenance planning, lifecycle logistics planning, processes, and procedures.
• Develops distribution plans; standard parts fielding packages; executes fielding and new equipment training.
• Reviews and revises Modification, Technical, and Supply Instructions.
• Assesses lifecycle logistics issues and develops risk mitigation approaches.
• Supports systems of systems fielding/implementation and disposal.
• Supports the Logistics IPT with presentations, tracking action items, and capturing minutes.
• Provides logistics input for Program Management Reviews and IPT meetings.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Understanding of logistics concepts, sustainment, and lifecycle analysis.
• Proficiency with DoD/Service Component LOG AIS systems, policies, and practices.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Specialized Skills
• Expertise with DoD 5000 documentation (LCSP, IUID, Depot Source of Repair, Core Logistics Assessment, PWSs, MARs, MPTPs, etc.).
• Ability to tailor/create new documentation as needed.
Preferred
• Functional understanding of project management software.
• DAWIA certification.
• Advanced experience with DoD 5000 deliverables.
Education/Experience
• Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of logistics experience (preferably in a systems logistics environment), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Details
• Salary Range: $65,000 – $80,000
• Clearance: US Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain DoD clearance.
• Location: Stafford, VA (hybrid, on-site as needed).
• Travel: Up to 10%
• Telework: Hybrid posture until further notice.
• Physical: Stationary work and computer use more than half the time.
