Logistics Analyst

The Logistics Analyst will provide assistance with material procurement, facilities coordination, and logistics (shipping, receiving, storage, hardware tracking, and other related tasks).  In addition, the resource will develop and maintain detailed storage inventory records, including government property per applicable requirements.  Duties include but are not limited to: 

Procurement

• Facilitate procurement of materials and supplies for personnel in the assigned subsection(s) and coordinate with applicable sourcing assets
• Provide status of in progress procurements when required

Shipping

• Create shipping documents
• Track hardware in the shipping process
• Transport expedited materials to and from local shipping facilities, between the Evendale site and local area subcontractor sites for processing. (typically <30 mile radius) This will involve the use of private vehicle with mileage reimbursement.          

Receiving

• Watch for skids delivered
• Contact item owners upon receipt of equipment
• Coordinate trucker moves
• Contacting engineers on rec
• Work with area personnel on correct storage areas
• Help to keep receiving area safe/clean

Inventory

• Establish/maintain inventory systems used in each sub-section for parts identification/location/tracking
• Work RFID implementation in each area as applicable.
• Maintain detailed records/systems for compliance. Responsible for quality/audits in assigned areas
• Coordinate, track and facilitate maintenance, repair and calibration of test instrumentation and equipment as required.

Facilities Management

• Submit work orders for needed facility repairs, upgrades, and maintenance
• Track the status of work orders in process

This position is Monday through Friday on site, typically during 1^st Shift 7am to 3:30pm
