Position Overview
The Junior Logistics Analyst plays a critical role in supporting Falcon Farms' supply chain and commercial strategy. This position is responsible for analyzing product availability, sales trends, and customer demand to optimize product allocation and ensure timely, cost-effective distribution. By integrating logistics execution with strategic sales analysis, the analyst provides actionable insights that improve service levels, enhance operational efficiency, and drive revenue growth. Working closely with production, sales, and transportation teams, the Junior Logistics Analyst ensures alignment between supply and market demand while maintaining operational discipline in a highly seasonal and variable industry. Key Responsibilities
Planning & Analysis
- Evaluate product availability and demand data to generate insights that optimize allocation strategies and support revenue growth.
- Collaborate with the Logistics Manager to define methodologies that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen service delivery.
- Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, and annual operational schedules that align with business objectives.
Coordination & Communication
- Partner with production teams to align supply capabilities with sales demand forecasts.
- Serve as a liaison between logistics, commercial, and production teams to ensure information flow and execution consistency.
- Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to anticipate challenges and deliver seamless customer service.
Execution & Operations
- Manage the end-to-end order process to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with customer service standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and product availability, providing proactive recommendations to maximize sales opportunities and minimize waste.
- Conduct strategic sales analysis to evaluate market performance, identify growth opportunities, and guide logistics priorities.
- Interpret demand trends to anticipate fluctuations, adjust allocation strategies, and improve forecast accuracy.
- Oversee product dispatch, coordinating land and air transportation to optimize delivery performance and cost-efficiency.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Track pre-sales assignments and fulfillment metrics to ensure consistent execution of commitments.
- Deliver periodic performance reports highlighting key outcomes, trends, risks, and recommendations for improvement.
- Provide continuous feedback to management and cross-functional teams to strengthen processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and support profitability initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Internet-based tools.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of logistics, distribution, and supply chain operations.
