ICD- Procurement Specialist

Aquatech immediately needs a full-time Procurement Specialist to work in our Hartland, WI, ICD office. The hours of this position are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. 

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be schedule-driven, have savvy negotiation skills, be highly organized, be a relationship builder, be customer service-driven, and be a team player.

Job Description:

• Generate RFQ packages for supplier bidding
• Review quotations, prepare bid tabulations, and provide recommendations for vendor selection.
• Generate procurement requisitions, including Scope of Work, Drawings, Specifications, ITP, etc.
• Manage purchase orders, including, but not limited to, conducting a kick-off meeting, reviewing weekly status reports, expediting (occasional in-person), and occasionally attending inspections.
• Coordinate between vendors and in-house project management, engineering, and quality control groups as necessary.
• Maintain MIS reports for project budgets.
• Ensure on-time and deliveries as per purchase order.
• Interact with Financial, Commercial, and Logistics Departments for shipments, terms, conditions, etc.
• May have to travel on company business to visit and review progress, expedite work, and develop new vendors or maintain relationships with existing vendors.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skill Requirements:

• Excellent computer skills (SAP, Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, and Cloud-based file sharing).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally on company business to visit and review progress, expedite work, and develop new vendors or maintain relationships with existing vendors.
• Schedule-driven with the ability to work flexible work hours to meet deadlines
• Experience in global sourcing and logistics management.

Physical Job Demands:

• Two (2) or more years of Experience in purchasing or relevant similar experience.
• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Purchasing, Operations/Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or equivalent.
• Certifications in purchasing, negotiations, and supplier management are preferred but not required.
• Minimal overnight Travel is required.
